Hello creative friends and welcome to BeksRoses!

My artistic practice blends traditional and digital making: gouache and watercolor painting, vintage ephemera, scanned found objects, and anything that can be transformed into stickers or stationery. I’ve always loved elevating simple materials into something meaningful, and yes, I truly love stickers.

I also am the foounder Tiny Joys by Beks, a monthly Patreon mail club where I share curated creative packages inspired by slow, cozy journaling.

Hi! I am Beks

BeksRoses is a creative brand built from resilience, intention, and community.

I am an Albanian immigrant who moved to the United States as a teenager. I did not initially see myself as an artist until college, when I began to understand creativity not as a fixed skill, but as something that can be developed through curiosity, commitment, and passion. That shift in perspective shaped my education and eventually led me into art education.

During my third year as an art teacher, my position was unexpectedly cut. I chose to turn that setback into a launching pad and fully commit to building something of my own. BeksRoses began in a living room studio where my creativity began to flow in ways it never had before.

Alongside the growth of the brand, I founded the Chicago Junk Journal Club to create space for shared creativity and connection. What began as small gatherings evolved into workshops and community events where people come together to slow down, create, and explore a new part of themselves.

Today, BeksRoses reflects my journey of building something meaningful from uncertainty. The brand stands for the belief that creative paths are not linear and that with passion and commitment, creativity can be cultivated, shared, and transformed into daily joy.
